Zach continues to thrive as an amateur chef. The Bringing Up Bates star runs a YouTube cooking channel with 64.4K views. Many of his videos feature some of his family, including his mother, Kelly Jo. Earlier this month, the two impressed many viewers after working on a Chicken Croquette recipe. His wife, Whitney, has also been very supportive of his cooking tutorials. Zach Reveals Why He Lost In ‘100 Cooks‘
In an Instagram post, Zach shared a clip of himself recreating the failed omelet recipe he made on 100 Cooks, which led to his departure. Zach was so embarrassed by what he did, adding that he felt so bad cooking the worst omelet in front of Alex Guarnaschelli and Nick DiGiovanni, whom he considers some of the best cooks in America. Zach wrote, “Ever since leaving the @foodnetwork 100 Cooks I’ve wondered what the omelette I fed @guarnaschelli and @nick.digiovanni actually tasted like… thankfully I remember it pretty well so I recreated it, vs the omelette I was hoping to squeeze into 12 minutes!” Zach later uploaded the video on YouTube.

According to the Bringing Up Bates star, he wasn’t able to achieve the proper fluffiness of the omelet and even left out the cheese. Zach did his best to fix his errors. He added that having a good cooking environment greatly affects the quality of the food. Many fans commended Zach for his commitment to keep getting better.
