Some even believe that it’s one of the main reasons why some of their kids ended up in prison, such as Josh and Joseph. Several family members still follow their tradition, especially when it comes to homeschooling and dress codes. Jessa recently took to YouTube to share a vlog announcing her newest investment with her husband, Ben. According to the Counting On alum, they decided to sell their previous car to buy a bigger van. Their family is growing, and they need more space for the kids when they’re traveling. Jessa also took the opportunity to test their new vehicle by going on long road trips. Many were impressed by how well-behaved her kids were on the road. But what caught many people’s attention was how Jessa treated some of her siblings who came along.

Some Counting On fans on social media are calling out Jessa following her latest vlog. It features their long trip with multiple stops, including a visit to Jessa’s in-laws. Jessa’s younger sisters, Jennifer and Jordyn, tagged along for the trip. But many were upset about how the two were seemingly assigned to look after the kids, which could be an indication that Jessa is still following the family’s tradition of making the younger kids look after their nephews and nieces, which is also known as the “buddy system.”

• “It sounded like they were being paid to go there. Jessa doesn’t seem to ever do anything fun and spontaneous. She drags along Ben or the whole family (plus aunt moms) and they all end up looking like props. Got to pay for the new van somehow.”
