‘Dutton Ranch’ Season 2 Cast Changes: 2 Are Exiting the TV Show, Several Likely to Return
The season one finale for Dutton Ranch aired this weekend on Paramount+, and fans of the show will be thrilled to know that is returning for a second season!
In season one, as Beth and Rip fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Montana – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. Kelly Reilly – Returning!
Kelly Reilly reprised her role from the Yellowstone universe in the new series.
She’ll be back as Beth Dutton for season two, and she acts as a series regular in the new show
Cole Hauser – Returning!
Cole Hauser also reprised his role from the Yellowstone series.
He portrays Rip Wheeler, and is a series regular in the new show.
Annette Bening – Likely returning
Oscar nominee Annette Bening will likely be back in some capacity for season two.
Annette plays Beulah Jackson, who is described as a “powerful, cunning, and charming head of a major ranch in Texas.”
Ed Harris – Likely returning
Ed Harris should be back for season two, barring any major changes.
He’ll play Everett McKinney, “a weathered veteran and veterinarian who treats animals with compassion and understanding, and possesses a good sense of humor.”
Juan Pablo Raba – Likely returning
With all that happened in the finale, we’d be shocked if Juan Pablo Raba does not return as Joaquin, described as “a worker at a major ranch who fixes problems, big or small.”
Natalie Alyn Lind – Likely returning
Natalie Alyn Lind will likely be back for season two.
She plays Oreana, who is a striking young woman with a wild and free spirit.”
Finn Little – Likely returning
Finn Little will likely be back as Carter for Dutton Ranch season two.
If you didn’t watch Yellowstone, he’s the adopted son figure to Beth and Rip. They took him in after his father died from a drug overdose.
Marc Menchaca – Likely Returning
Marc Menchaca was heavily featured in season one, and it would be surprising if he did not return as Zachariah for season two.
Zachariah is described as “a newly released jailbird trying to rebuild his life as a wrangler and cowboy.”
Jai Courtney – Exiting
Barring any surprising return in a flashback scene, it looks like Jai Courtney will not be back for season two of Dutton Ranch.

Chad Feehan – Exiting as Showrunner
Chad Feehan will no longer be showrunner for Dutton Ranch. Season 2 will see a new exec take over the fan favorite Yellowstone spinoff.
Entertainment Weekly confirms that Benjamin Cavell will act as showrunner and executive producer for the next season of the Paramount+ drama. His credits include creating SEAL Team, working as a writer and producer on Justified, and writing for shows including Homeland and Sneaky Pete.
