Christine Reveals Kody & Robyn Have Cut All Ties With Mykelti!

Sister Wives star Christine Brown isn’t holding anything back in her new memoir, Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family and Finding Freedom. The Sister Wives star opened up about life after polygamy and revealed surprising details about the fractured relationships within her once-large family. She spilled how Kody and Robyn have cut ties, even with her daughter, Mykelti. They were once close, but now it’s all gone.

One of the most surprising claims in the book centers on her daughter, Mykelti Brown. Once known as the daughter who welcomed Robyn Brown with open arms. Mykelti has now lost her bond not only with Robyn but also with her father, Kody. Christine admits that her family no longer spends time with Robyn or her kids. She further reveals that Kody and Robyn themselves severed ties with Mykelti. It’s a revelation that highlights just how fractured the Brown family has become.

Sister Wives: Christine Reveals Dark Secrets In Her Book!

Christine Brown was the first wife to walk away from Kody, realizing she and her kids were stronger without him. Her decision inspired Janelle and Meri to follow, leaving Kody and Robyn behind eventually. In her memoir, Christine described the pain she endured, from Kody’s cruel “knife in the kidneys” remark to his favoritism toward Robyn even during her pregnancy.

She confirmed long-rumored stories, giving fans a candid look at her struggles. Christine also detailed Kody’s failure as a father. He hurt his children emotionally by neglecting their needs. Though she spoke respectfully, she made it clear she wants no ties with Kody or Robyn. Still, she hopes her kids will someday experience having a loving father figure.

Sister Wives: Mykelti’s Relationship With Kody & Robyn Collapses

In her memoir, Christine Brown Woolley wrote that Kody and Robyn cut off contact with Mykelti even though she was once one of Robyn’s strongest supporters. Christine really hopes that time could heal the rift, but revealed how the once-close bond is now broken. For longtime viewers, this came as a shock, considering Mykelti often acted as a peacemaker between Robyn and the rest of the Sister Wives. So, what went wrong?

The tension, however, didn’t arise overnight. Mykelti has previously voiced disappointment in her father. In October 2024, she criticized Kody in a video for his lack of accountability. She further added that he tended to blame others rather than take responsibility for his actions. According to Mykelti, even a simple apology could open the door to reconciliation, but Kody’s refusal to own his mistakes kept that from happening.

Her words reflected what other Brown children have said. Kody’s inability to connect emotionally has left long-lasting damage. Mykelti and Kody’s rift clearly states how deep the division runs. She was once really close to Robyn, but they are clearly too self-absorbed to work on relationships. All they want to do is massage their egos. Christine’s memoir makes it clear that reconciliation depends largely on Kody’s willingness to change.

She suggests that healing could happen in the future, but until accountability and honest communication enter the picture, the rift will likely remain. For now, the Browns remain divided. Moreover, Mykelti’s estrangement serves as another reminder of how much the family’s dynamic has shifted since Christine chose freedom over polygamy.
