Meri was as skeptical as Christine about meeting for a proper first conversation. While Janelle and Christine bond easily, a startling gap remains between Christine and Meri.

Christine, Meri, and Janelle eventually gathered in Sister Wives Season 21 to go through 30 years of family photos together. As they talked about how they looked years ago, Christine brought up her wedding ring. Since divorcing Kody and marrying David, the ring means nothing to her.

However, Christine still has the ring. She told Meri and Janelle she doesn’t know what to do with it, and it’s weird. Meri apparently had kept her wedding jewelry in a box because she can’t just throw it away. She clarified she isn’t storing her sentiment in it; rather, she is focusing solely on its monetary value. Meri said the jewelry has some value, so neglecting it would be a loss. And Christine supported her perspective and decision, calling it right.

Janelle, Christine, and Meri reunited on Sister Wives Season 21 for a reason. It’s to share and exchange photos. These photos aren’t just pictures; they’re memories from the last 30 years. Most of them were taken by Meri with their big family. So Christine made it clear that her main purpose in meeting Meri was to get snapshots she had never seen before.

Christine made it known that she wasn’t there to socialize with her ex-Sister Wives. She knew her goal, so she enjoyed seeing a  photo of one of their children dressed in clothes cut out of old curtains. The trio discussed how Kody used to be a loving father to their kids before they moved on to look at a hierarchy photo taken in the 90s.

Meri, Christine, and Janelle were all triggered by that photo where the wives were put in different positions. While Meri was on top as Kody’s first wife, Janelle was in the middle, and Christine was on the bottom, which made her feel terrible. She hesitated about the idea back then, and now Meri is upset about how Christine felt in one portrait.

Despite the difficulty of separation from the big family, Meri expressed her delight at seeing her ex-Sister Wives as confident and comfortable with her.
