Kody marrying all three of them and then Robyn was history he had written with his own hand. He was never a good husband to any of the women, and even now to Robyn. They all struggled massively at his hands.
Kody’s current monogamous lifestyle has shifted dynamics with his ex-wives. His only remaining wife, Robyn, is a pretty woman who is showering him with love, respect, obedience, and support. The first one to pull the plug on the polygamous marriage is Christine, dissolving it legally and spiritually in 2021, followed by Janelle and Meri. Kody may be gone for good, but is he? Yet again, he dropped a bombshell about the sale of the family land: Coyote Pass. Janelle said he lied at the Season 20 reunion, claiming she tried to do a backdoor deal to leave Meri out of the property share. According to her, she has never falsified anything to benefit herself.
So, Janelle threw shade at Kody and expressed her frustration. Denying his claim, she confirmed that before he left the show, he wanted to add fuel to the fire. It was a makeup story from him for Janelle. Coyote Pass was already sold for $1.5 million in April 2025. So the deal was closed, and only after that did Kody start talking nonsense to confuse Meri.

Christine picked up a very old photo from their golden young days to talk about years later now. A two-decade-old photo of ex-Sister Wives brought back both good and bad memories. The photo had Christine question what she was doing with her hair since she styled it so differently. She called their position in the photo an iconic quintessential polygamy pose.
The photo strongly conveyed the hierarchy of wives. While Meri is in the back and on top, Christine is on the bottom, and Janelle is next to her, slightly higher than her and lower than Meri. It’s a strange point to note down. After two decades, the question of hierarchy felt as bad as it had then. Meri questioned why they shouldn’t be on the same level.
Meri felt none of them had planned their positions, and that the photographer probably just wanted to click like that. She remembered that Christine was asked to sit down, and since she was pregnant, Meri was very upset. Now Christine has very much moved on from her polygamy era to monogamy era.
