There, they talked about their family’s lack of hygiene and their husbands’ shock upon discovering it.

Now, Jinger and Joy Anna recently had a conversation in which they dropped a shocking fact about their childhood and the siblings’ dynamics.
Apparently, relationship-wise, the sisters were not close at all while they were growing up. The sisters acknowledged that the bond was not there. Jinger, on the other hand, said it was due to their age gap and the family’s segregation of the kids into older, middle, and younger kids. Moreover, their different personalities and the group segregation played a huge role in the sisters drifting apart.

In a recent episode of Jinger’s podcast, the sister additionally revealed that their husbands were speechless as well. Apparently, they were also shocked by their wives’ lack of cleanliness.
Joy Anna revealed that Austin had been unhappy with her lack of hygiene even before their marriage. She also revealed that she did not shower daily and did not shampoo her hair often. In her defense, there are days when they did not feel dirty. However, after marriage, she had to shower daily to keep Austin happy. Jinger also had a similar experience with Jeremy.
Although she revealed that she does not wash her hair as often, she stated that her hygiene practices have significantly improved with Jeremy in her life. Apparently, hygiene practices are very important to Jeremy. However, the sisters were reluctant to discuss the issues in greater depth. The sisters then recalled how it was for them growing up.
Apparently, the huge family had only two bathrooms at their rentals. Therefore, they constantly had to face long lines to use the bathroom. “So if you wanted to have a hot shower, you needed to be one of the first two or three in there,” Jinger revealed.
