Duggar News followers recently learned that Amy Duggar personally reached out to the young girl who accused Joseph Duggar of molestation. Apparently, she wanted the alleged victim to know she wasn’t alone and tried to explain to her that one traumatic experience would not define the rest of her life. Amy recently appeared on The Sarah Fraser Show and said, “I told her that if she ever just needed a safe place to talk, that I’m here.”
Amy further talked about the girl’s bravery and pointed out how it takes incredible courage to speak out. She explained that it needs a lot of courage, especially when there’s a fear that people may turn against you. While talking about Joseph’s behavior, Amy said, “I don’t understand how you can admit to it and say you did it, and then backtrack and change it and be like, ‘Well, I might have said that, but I didn’t mean that.”

Duggar News followers have always been curious to know Amy Duggar’s side of the story and why she decided to finally cut all her ties with the Duggar family. In an exclusive Oxygen interview, she revealed that she had “heard nothing” from several Duggar family members. She added, “Absolutely, there is no contact. That is just something that I have put boundaries in place.”
Amy explained that she was well aware of how things were going on that side of the family. She said that, based on all the news she had gathered, things were “really heavy.” But this doesn’t mean that Amy had lost contact with all of Duggar family members. She noted that she loves to have open conversations with several of her cousins who are “free and good people.”
Amy further made it clear that she doesn’t hate anyone from the Duggar family. She wants them all to be healthy, flourish in life, and be good parents who love and protect their kids. The celeb added, “I feel like the truth has always been so hard to find in my family.” Amy simply wants to break all the cycles and stand for the victims and what is right. What do you think?
